Still time to come over and play.......

The Color Room palette #34.....sorry, so totally slack with posting this, but you still have until Friday to have a go at this super cool combo:):)  My baby and his cake from last weekend.  These colours were just perfect for these pics:)

"Time 2 Party"

The balloons and banners I made with felt and scrap bits of paper:)  Really easy and adds heaps of texture to your layout.

I also used some Sass Felties (I just love these)  I hope they bring out new ones soon:):)

That's it for now, sorry it's short and sweet but off to beddo now, I'm knackered.  Have a fantastic week.

My baby turned 2 + some scrappiness:)

So my little boy, Kobi, turned 2 yesterday.  I just wanted to share a couple of piccies and a few little details about him at this super cute milestone:)

- Just a wee little guy and weighs 9.7kg (I weighed him today and thought for sure he would of hit the 10kg mark.....)
- Wears size 0 clothes (but also 00 pants and 1 shirts)
- He just graduated out of crawler nappies
- His excema is much much better than this time last year
- Likes to copy his brother and does the occasional wee on the toilet (with no help mind you "no Mummy, I do it myself".....Mr Independent)
- Can count to 13
- Has a good little temper on him
- Loves meat and biscuits but is a picker and picks all day at foods
- Is still in his cot (and I ain't moving him yet as he sleeps ALL night for me)
- Loves dancing and singing songs
- Loves Iggle Piggle (In the Night Garden)
- Loves his brother to bits (infact he is very loving to all of us)
- Still not a lover of swimming but getting better
- Loves reading and can tell you everything in his word books

So this pic was taken yesterday on his actual birthday.....he has the cheekiest grin and will giggle at anything:)

These 2 were taken Sunday at the little party we had for him.  He just loved the Iggle Piggle party hat I made him.  It was a horrible, rainy day so the pics aren't the greatest but he had a ball anyway:):)  He sang Happy Birthday to himself.....it was the cutest, we had been practising for a few days prior.

My 2 boys, how very lucky we are to have them:)

So just a couple of scrappy layouts to share that I made using Such Sweet Tierney Buttons.  London is having a sale in her shop too this weekend.  So pop over here to get 15% off your order:)

I just loved the colours in these buttons, I had to make the layout in the same tones.  Of course I used some Prima, The Chip Chop Shop and MLBOW.

"Kooky Coop"

I have had this Hambly owl screenprint forever and finally was able to use it:)  I am really loving Hambly at the moment but I am finding it really hard to source, can anyone help me out and let me know where I can get some more screenprints from?

Now for the Christmas buttons.....awwww, it's getting to my favourite time of year.  This is a pic of Kobi from last year.  I can't believe that he wasn't even walking last Christmas!!  Hope fully in the next couple of weeks I will have some new Xmas pics of my 2 little elfs to share:)

"My Joy"

Just a few more closeups....hope you don't mind:)  How cute and colourful are these buttons??

So that is about it for now, a new palette tomorrow at The Color Room and I will share my layout then:)

A couple of you lovely ladies asked me about the coral I used on the last layout.......unfortunately if I knew where I could get it from I would get loads more (and let you all know too), it's just so effective.  I actually had a really old hanging piece (which I got at the markets years ago) and it had shells and this coral stuff on it.  I pulled it all apart and made use of it in my layouts but now it is all gone and would love to find some more too:)

I hope you all have had a lovely week.....nearly the weekend!

Thankyou so much for visiting and your super sweet comments, I really appreciate it.

The Color Room #32

The next palette is up and its a combination of brown, red and oranges....so very hard for me especially with brown.  But soon as I saw this palette I had a beachy type layout in mind.  I used my new Tim Holtz ColorWash on this in Butterscotch and Red Pepper.  I found some shells and added loads of distressing to them.  A few Prima flowers and The Chip Chop Shop beach hut...too cute:)  I just love this pic of the boys at the beach, they were more than likely digging for treasure:)

"Cherish Always"

Sorry about the closeup overload but there is a fair bit of detail in this:)

So this bit of plastic mesh stuff is the same thing I have used in all of my beachy layouts.  It is the plastic stuff you find around a gas bottle.  It is really easy and stringy to rip apart and then I just rub some paint over it with my finger. It is a little hard to stick down to your page but a good adhesive should work.

I have also used more bandage wrap and just sprayed randomly with my ColorWash.  The coral I have just sprayed aswell.  I am all out of this now so may have to source some more, I think it looks great of a beachy page:)

Lastly the little beach hut from The Chip Chop Shop .  I also made the little starfishy's myself.  Just cut the shape and distressed....easy as that:)

Okay, that is about it for today, hope you all have a wonderful weekend:)
Thanks for popping by.

My Little Bit Of Whimsy DT Announcement:):)

Check out the announcement here. I am totally thrilled to be apart of this team with Steph.  I would be one of her biggest fans of her cute little whimsy's:):)  Not many pages go by where I don't use one (or 3) of her creations!

That's it for today......I have actually managed to scrap a page today.  It is all sitting there ready to be glued down tonight when the boys go to bed:)

Just catching up.....

I have been a very naughty blogger and need to catch up on a few layouts that I have uploaded onto sites.  Just been a few things going on here atm.  Not too much scrapping happening, just getting my projects done.  There are just not enough hours in the day some days.  So my first layout here is for Scrap The Boys . The challenge is what Super Hero would your boy be......Cooper would love to be any super hero but I had these pics of him with his Buzz wings on and he does love to pretend to fly off the furniture....lol!!!!

"To Infinity & Beyond"

This next one is for The Color Room #30.  Just some older pics of Coop I had never scrapped yet and a cute button from Lil Red Rocket:)

"Click"

I love my Prima brick stamp.

The Color Room #31.  Very pretty palette this week.  I just had to do a Gracie layout.  I took this pic of her a couple of weeks ago, so cute:)  Of course loads of Prima and some more new Hollywood Vouge by Websters.

"Sweet"

Just some more closeups:

The Basic Grey chippie is a bit cute isn't it!

Lastly a card I made a while back and have since given to my bff.  The colours were really pretty in this.

"Just For You"

I'll just leave you with an updated pic of the boys (poor little Kobi looks freezing).  They love this little pool out in the backyard to muck about in.  But they do prefer to swim in our big pool (esp Cooper).  Kobi's swimming lessons are getting much better now and he doesn't cry anymore because I am not in the pool with him....yay!!!

Okay, Tim's just walked in the door.
Thanks again for all your sweet comments on my last layout.....yeah, I love doing girly ones every once in a while:):)
